Show your Independence

In handwriting, independence comes in three shapes and sizes, each with its own distinctive strokes and each with its own distinctive meaning.

You may have all.

You may have one.

You may have two.

You may have none of these strokes.

Check your writing to find your independence rating.

Imagination: are you a New Ideas Person?

The dictionary describes “Imagination” as: The process of forming mental images or concepts of what is not actually present to the senses.

Put another way, imagination is coming up with new ideas.

Like most things related to personality, imagination shows in handwriting.

In fact it shows in 3 distinct ways, and all three operate differently.

Where do your ideas come from? » Continue reading “Imagination: are you a New Ideas Person?”

Conventional or Enterprising: which are you?

I was watching the Wheel of Fortune recently.  I love the short chat-break between Pat Sajak and Vana White at the end of the show.

Pat is funny, but what I enjoy is Vana’s ‘down home” personality.  Here is a woman who wears more glamorous dresses than almost anyone else on the planet, and she talks quite happily about her vegetable garden and the like!

What got my attention in this particular episode was Vana telling everyone that monkeys eat bananas by peeling them from the other end, and how much easier that is than the way we normally peel them.

banana

(I gave it a shot and she’s right!)

That got me to thinking about people who prefer to do things in the conventional, established way as opposed to those who really enjoy finding out things like peeling bananas from the opposite end (obviously I am one of them).

Here is how Conventional vs Enterprising shows in your handwriting. » Continue reading “Conventional or Enterprising: which are you?”

Listening is a skill.  It is a skill that remarkably few people have to any degree.

Read on and identify your listening strengths and weaknesses. » Continue reading “Listening Skills and your Handwriting”

Memories: how will you look back?

I write this as the old year disappears and tonight at midnight a brand new year will start.

Traditionally this is a time of memories.  A time to look back and remember what good and bad happened over the past year.  Perhaps to wonder what we could have done better, but hopefully to celebrate what we did spectacularly well.

Writing gives insights into how each writer will look back.  Which are you?

Did you spend too much?

In the Western world, the week after Christmas is a time of spending.

Shops offer sales and shoppers push, shove and stand in line for hours if necessary to get bargains.

What in writing will show who is likely to be an overly-avid post-Christmas shopper?  Here are a few strokes to consider. » Continue reading “Did you spend too much?”

Did you eat too much?

Christmas is over for another year.  Did you eat too much?

Your writing cannot show what you actually ate, or how much, but it can show whether you have the inclination to be someone who enjoys food and perhaps has trouble knowing when to stop!

There are other reasons, of course, for over eating, but if your reason is just that you enjoy food so much, you may find it showing in your writing. » Continue reading “Did you eat too much?”

Who’ll find the best shopping deals? Personality in the Marketplace.

The day after Christmas, which is today as I write this, in North America, is the day when people pack the shops even more than they did before Christmas, as they shop for bargains, make returns on unwanted gifts, and generally try to survive the mobs as they get the best “deals.”

sale

“Mayhem” is a good word to describe it.

But like every other occasion in life, people’s writing can give accurate insights into how someone is likely to behave. » Continue reading “Who’ll find the best shopping deals? Personality in the Marketplace.”
